About me

Born and raised in SW Washington. I attended our states online schooling program, WAVA, from middle school all through graduation; it's where I developed my love of history, politics, and all things technology. Work has never been a stranger to me, my first job was in fast food at 16 and I've been in the workforce ever since.

After graduation, I attended Clark College, earning my Associate's degree and gaining invaluable experience. During my time at Clark, I was fortunate enough to find mentorship and guidance from the wonderful teachers there.

After graduating from Clark, my career in Information Technology started. My first job outside of college was by obtaining a short-term contract with the Oregon U.S. 9th District Court. This is where I gained a massive amount of respect for our judicial system and the rule of law, which has left a lasting impression on me.

After leaving the court, I obtained my most recent employment as a Jr. Systems Administrator with a local software company. This wonderful opportunity allowed me to gain a lot of experience in the IT field and to participate more in our local community. During that time, my volunteer work began with our local Indivisible chapter, IGV, as their "IT guy" and eventually a member on their leadership committee. During the course of this work, I realized my passion for politics had enraptured me completely.

I began to truly realize how much my family and I owed to programs like SNAP, which kept the fridge full; or the grants I received that allowed me to get higher education. I wouldn't be where I am today without these programs - without the support of my community. I can no longer idly stand by as our government continuously tries to cut these programs and services that people so heavily rely on.

I refuse to shut the door behind me. We deserve to live in a country where people can thrive, not just survive. Politically I consider myself to be a proud Democratic Socialist, it's where my heart is; and I'm of the belief that it's the future for our country. I hope you take a moment to read further into my platform.

There's only one way out of the current crisis, and it's by rallying together.
